In the Fall of 2018, I decided to document my American life. I have been living with my partner's family since 2015, and have become a close family member. I used my camera to capture our daily life and moments where my Chinese culture intersected with American life. With this project, I took intimate photos which gave me a new perspective of my life. As a born and raised Chinese girl living with an American family, I have had a rich cultural experience. This work is about life, culture, relationships, love, and everything else that is part of me.
